Making guns for my movie (The Tramp)

My script calls out for a home made gun. A trip to local hardware store, 2 dollars for a pipe and BANG!

It will shoot a razor sharp cloud of nail heads into a bad dude's face.
I will start my first feature shoot in the end of September. Can't wait! :yes:

That is actually very similar in design to a primitive blunderbuss. Although I wouldn't recommend it, I'll bet you could actually shoot it like a black powder gun. I would either screw something onto the end of the pipe to act as a muzzle or cut the threaded end off of the pipe.

Mate Tooling?? That's a bit fancy.... Bet you could get a cheaper pipe! :)

I assume the script calls for a home-made shotgun? I mean... Don't get me wrong, it looks really cool, but I don't think anybody would be fooled into thinking it was a real shotgun. If it is home-made that you are going for, then you've acheived that perfectly!

Yes, the script is calling for a home made gun. I ve used exact tools and resources that my character has in the movie. :) authentic all the way haha
