Makes sense to make other notes at time of screenplay writing?

If an indie filmmaker is writing a screenplay for a 90 minute film for example, does it make sense for that person to, at the same time of writing the screenplay, make post-production notes in a separate log/journal? Or is it better for the person to finish the screenplay first and then start from the beginning, scene by scene, and plan post-production elements that he/she would like to have?

Post production notes can document certain elements like a specific fade/transition to use for a scene, and ideas may come to mind at the time of the screenwriting, which may not come to mind at post-production.

Also, what if Production ideas at the time of screenplay writing, come to mind, e.g. a particular lighting to use for a particular scene, does it make sense for the writer to capture those Production notes in a log/journal also, so as to not forget the idea?

Do indie folks use this approach?

Seems we have a case here where the writer, DOP and editor are writing together, in great harmony, complementing each other. Every note makes sense, as you will want it to come across that your attention to detail is rich.

It can't do any harm.

If you are the writer and the director, you'll be wanting to produce a "shooting script" before you begin production that includes these notes anyway.

If, however, you're looking to sell the script, your notes will be wasted, as they (most likely) won't get used.

Yes, it is so! I call those three the famous trio or the three happy men!

Good points, and wise thought.
