editing Make shots look like a scene

I have several shots that I need to bring together to form a final sequence. Each of the shots has its own unique color problems\features as I expect is normal.

I understand that grading and correcting are in order. What I'm having trouble with is making all the shots "look" the same. I cant see an easy way to compare once AE comp to another in real time on the screen. I can bounce BETWEEN comps, but can get them both up on the screen at the same time. Did I miss something.. maybe snapshots can do this? Are there better ways?

Create multiple viewers and put them side by side on the screen. Open a different comp in each.
