Make boxes look old

I'm shooting a set with old banker boxes, only mine are still new. Any simple way to create this effect besides dropping and throwing them a bunch?

Bang them up and use some brown show polish to make them look dingy. Just apply, and then rub it off. What is left behind will create the dingy look.
