Looking for advice on outputting an animated film to HDCam

I made an animated film for film festivals and if it's accepted I need to provide an HD tape, because they won't use DVD's for public presentation. I'm told I can do this by hooking up an HDCam to my computer and outputting it to the tape.

Some HDCam's use sticks...I obviously need one that uses tape and can be hooked up to my computer. Ideally I'd be finding something on the cheaper side but not one that has a crappy reputation for reliability. Does anybody have any recommendations?

HDCAM is a tape format, you'd need some kind of HDCAM deck which are hugely expensive.

Your best bet is going to be finding a local post house/finishing suite and getting them to do the dub for you. It's going to be quicker and easier, better and cheaper than buying your own deck.
