Location Scouting - Police Interrogation Room

Hi Guys!!

I have been desperately trying to find a police interrogation / interview room that I can use for my short film......BUT I CAN'T FIND A PLACE I CAN USE!!

Can anyone suggest a setting that could also double as something like this?? I have thought about music recording studios, but none fit the bill!!

Thanks in advance guys,

Stefchek

Maybe find a blank room with white walls and set design to make your own interrogation room. Film-making is all about illusions. No one knows what you don't tell them. Maybe get a smaller room and get the strong dangling lights overhead with a table in the middle. :)

Have you ever, watched a show called The First 48? A lot of their interrogation rooms are simple small rooms with a desk or table against one wall, and a security camera filming from over head. One detective is inside the room asking questions, while the other detectives are in a cubical watching on a video monitor.

That's one way you could film this, beside the typical room with a big one way mirror.

Depends on the story..

where are we in the "induction" process? Is the interviewee a full suspect or a "person of interest'

Are they already under arrest or are they volunteering for questioning.

Go do some basic research. Visit your local city\county jail and ask them for how the intake process works. When are suspects suspects..etc.. when are they interrogated etc.. it will improve your story
