Hey all,
I was going to just sell my awesome letus hawk DSLR view finder that I bought for the T2i. It would not work right with the GH2.

So its been sitting in the box for several months, as I took it out to get ready to photo for ebay, is looked at it some more.. I noticed the Hawk has a 1/4 20 screw hole for mounting the Optional lanyard. Then I looked in some other stuff and found a 7" LCD articulating arm that I had ordered from coollcd.com a few months back..
well it wasn't long before I lashed up what become this:
In this photo you can see the built in 1/4 20 hole. That worked fine, except I wasn't able to utilize the full tilt of the swing out LCD on the GH2.. hence the mod to the bottom plate..
here you see the mod to the plate that came with the Hawk, original functionality is not impacted ...
Man I love having a drill press and 1/4 20 tap at hand!
More cool views..
slightly different config, and you can see the mount on the rails,
I plan to change this out for something like this..
