We've only shot two scenes. One of my actresses is in the hospital, and the other is leaving the country for a few months. Time to make a Teaser.

The auditioning girls are from the original shoot. They're not from the DSLR.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Not sure what's going on in the teaser.

Some of the shots were well composed but idk the story im supposed to look forward to.

You don't get anything from it? I thought the narrative (though just a generalization) is pretty self explanatory.

What do you think it's about?

I mean other than her wanting to be a star, there's not much else there. Usually a bit of the conflict or struggle she's supposed to overcome is shown to make you want to see how she would get over it.

But on the rewatch i do get an All About Eve tone from it. A girl who will go as far as it takes to fulfill her obsession of becoming a star.

Oh Thank God. As long as you get "I want to be a star" out of it, that's enough.

What happens sometimes with me is, I know exactly what everything means. So, I assume everyone else will also. Then when they don't, I start to really second guess myself.
