archived-videos "Late" - my first short film

The music, the VO and the writing is nice...it brings emotion to the surface. However, the looooong hand-held shaky camera work I couldn't deal with...halfway through I had to stop watching the screen. And I stopped the movie. I feel bad too...because other elements I was really attracted to.

Sure, I could see that happening.
Spoilers coming up for the second half – it's practically shake-free. :)

I liked, the beginning for all the reasons Michael, mentioned. Also got tired of the different distances of the same shaky shot. And then towards the end I was thinking "Where is this going?" Especially with the amount of time left. But you know what? I really liked the end, lol it was pretty good.

Good writing, good VO, good music & good story. You should just play with the visuals.

Really did like the ending though.

You DID like the shaky hand-held following shot? I'm confused. Your first sentence is written a little like Christopher Walken talks...lol...odd punctuation placement. Either Walken or Shatner. lol.

I agree with Micheal.

I thought the VO was nice.

But the first half of the film was a girl walking with a shaky cam with no lighting and a grainy picture. The scond alf was mostly 2 shots. Which were also not lit, and skaky.

I would have honestly prefered to read it instead of watch it.

Not being a native English speaker myself, I take the lack of comments about the VO girl's "American" accent to be a good thing (?). She's never lived in an English-speaking country, I was kind of impressed!

Personally, I Didn't mind the long, hand held shot. I thought that the whole production was very well done actually. It reminded me alot of something by Gaspar Noe.

I haven't seen anything he's done, but from what I've heard he's tackling heavier subjects than I'd ever dream of. I'm a coward.
