I know i am supposedly be reading the old threads but this is really last minute.
Basically i am making a documentary about traditional market in Taiwan.
My plan is just go into the market and ask a random vender if they'll let me film a day of his life.
It'll be me doing the interview and camera works and my sis will be helping me.
Is there anything i should know about documentary? I know virtually nothing about documentary.
Technique wise or like should I "pay" the interviewee?
The purpose is to demonstrate how taiwanese are getting away from trad. market to super chain stores.
Personally, i think trad market is like the root of taiwanese ppl, a lot of things happen there.
I have about 3 days max. to film. Editing i can do back in Canada.
Thanks for all the help!!!
