FilmLA has just put out a report saying that the City of Angels has a falling share of TV pilots - I've predicted that for the last few years.
But ...
LA still has more pilots than the next five cities (NY, Vancouver, Toronto, Atlanta, Louisiana) COMBINED. Furthermore, as I was told during a conference a couple of months ago, while the work is done outside, the deals are still made in LA.
And that is why I'm going to set my base in LA or its environs. Step by step, I'm getting there.
