Just bought a tascam dr100 mkii. Need help.

I have a shoot tomorrow for a school project and plan to use the tascam to record audio, I know it isn't the best choice but it's all I have to work with at the moment. My tascam seems to be playin back my audio files slower then normal and distorted. I also don't think I set the recorder to HS when I first used it. I don't know how to change it or what the problem is. Any help is much appreciated

What is setting between -50 and 16 that I should set playback speed for normal speed

I would think zero (0) unless you recorded at a different speed.

You want to record 24bit/48kHz .WAV format - this is DVD standard and the default for most NLEs.
