Johnny Dangerously - Classic?

I remember liking this film when it first came out. Would be interesting if the humor held up today or if on the whole it still made me laugh.

A few months ago, we thought "Hey, let's watch some old(er) comedies. How about SPACEBALLS? Yeah, that one was awesome!" Not so much. It just didn't pack the same punch as it did years ago. Me thinks we grew out of that one.

On the other hand, films like Beetlejuice, Repo Man and Naked Gun somehow have been able to maintain their luster over the years. Naked Gun in particular.

I hear you. I'm kinda' that way with Blazing Saddles.

Johnny Dangerously is one of my favorite comedies. Still holds up today. A classic indeed. The dialog of the priest in the prison is hilarious. And Mary-Margret Catherine Dineen is the best.

"Hey doll, how'd you like to make some money?"
"One at a time or both of you together?"
