Wow, that was fast! I'll do all of the judging after the deadline, much as I want to watch that right now... I'll refrain.
 
My actors are all sick and so am I.
Might be pulling this off at the last second.
I dunno.

How the rest of you guys doing?
 
I know what I want to shoot, but I'm struggling to find the time to shoot it. I won't get chance til tuesday at the very earliest, plus I'll only have one night! I might be struggling here....

I might have to come up with something else.

Final visual and dialogue edit tonight. The music should also be ready, so plug that in and tweak the levels/timing. VFX and grade tomorrow. Getting it ready for something else Thursday evening also.

Should be OK, but we had some lighting failures and rushed the shots a little bit too much by the time we got going. Oh well, we had fun.

Just finished this one. Just a test short to see if I could use the DSLR with separate audio recording. Shot in one 13-hour shoot. No crew, which made this a bit challenging. At one point, I was directing, running camera, holding the boom in one hand, and a light in the other.

Is the midnight Halloween deadline like 00:01on the 31st, or 23:59?

Unfortunately, I've completely let this slip.... But, a day off work tomorrow means I might be able to scramble something together. No actors though. I do, however, have an idea for a found-footage short (sorry Ray). I'll try and knock that together tomorrow. I'm sure it'll be terrible, and probably late, but I'll do my best!
 
Man, it's amazing how and when inspiration strikes. Brain was bone dry this morning. Concept came to me at 1:30 this afternoon while sipping coffee at Starbucks. Immediately headed home. Done with shooting. Lots of audio to record and I'm not certain I'll make the deadline, but will certainly try!
