Is This A Good Lens? (Another Lens Buying Thread)

So I've been wanting a prime lens for a while now, (which I should have started with in the first place) and I stumbled upon this little guy:

What do you guys think? Is it worth the buy?

Seems comparable to the Canon nifty fifty (slightly cheaper at $120~ 50mm 1.8)

I noticed from your search terms you were looking for an E mount lens? Careful - this is an A mount, and won't fit your NEX camera (if that's what you have) without an expensive LA-EA2 adapter.

If you really need a 50mm f1.8 E Mount Lens you can use on an NEX camera without an adapter, it will cost you $298.

If that's too expensive, there are some inexpensive Sigma system primes for E mount you may want to take a look at.
