Is This a Good Camera to Shoot My First Film Short?

I just watched a movie that was filmed using a VHS cam that was shown in theaters...so ANY cam will do...just have to know what you are doing...see trash Humpers movie..OK the name is a giveaway and yes, the movie is bizarre but it can be done w/ most any cam just look at your example
