Is my life like a film?

My father tells me that I am a good hearted person, but it is my temper that ruins me! any suggestions? can filmmaking solve my problem. Has filmmaking been beneficial to any of u guys??

I have no idea what you are asking here.

Tempers are never good on set or off, in fact a good deal of tolerance and maturity is necessary in the biz due to egos from the talent to the crew to the producers even the media.

Filmmaking wont help you get your anger under control, only you can do that.

If anything filmmaking (or moviemaking) has been more of a test of my temper than if I had an 8-5 job (which Ive had several times).

It certainly teaches you how to work with people. Either that or everyone soon hates you and will no longer work with you. There isn't anything in the world that will fix the problem FOR you. You'll have to do that on your own. Filmmaking will give you an opportunity to interact in a (hopefully) professional environement though.

I've learned a lot about organisation, that's for sure. :)

Things will go wrong on even the well planned events, though. In many ways it's kinda stressful, so having an even keel and the ability to innovate backup plans on the fly will prevent a lot of gray hair.

You'll get more people wanting to work with you again, if you can keep cool as a cucumber when the pressure's on.

With all the ups and downs, headaches and panic-attacks... it's still a really fun hobby. :)

Thanks for the advice. I'm not sure if it will help me with successfully controlling my temper though. I still have a good heart. Let me know of any suggestions from any of u filmmakers, or film fans.
