Hello. I did marketing projects in past years. It sometimes required obtaining video footage. I made several basic mistakes like recording shaky footage, focusing on picture while missing the importance of audio, and recording video that was noisy. Overcoming those issues taught me a few important basics, but that was as far as my interest went.
Six months ago, I started spending a lot of time learning about producing videos. I took an online college photography course, watched tons of YouTube video tutorials/tips from talented video producers (e.g. Daniel Schiffer and RocketJump Film School), bought some camera gear, watched Hollywood movies to analyze them, downloaded Davinci Resolve, downloaded music tracks, downloaded sound fx, and produced a few (very basic and short) videos. Now I love videography/cinematography and got totally sucked into it.
I look forward to learning and connecting with all of you.
