Does anyone know anything about the IFP independent filmmaker labs? It's a year-long mentorship program for aspiring filmmakers, but it seems more geared towards directors, as opposed to producers (or aspiring moguls).

I tried the classes years ago when digital video was new. You are right, the classes are geared towards directors and not producers. They show how-to videos and have experienced directors to answer questions at the end when I took the classes some years ago. The classes help to understand the technology of the craft. All I took was about maybe four classes. Hope that helps.
