I have found the place for me

Hi, I have recently gotten into film and the general indie film world. I currently own a Canon t2i and have thus far only made stop motion videos such as this on--> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zcoKkc5uJuw&feature=channel_video_title but I haven't started to explore the video on it yet. I was wondering if there is anyone out there with any knowledge of its quality sound and other specs? I was also wondering what a good HD camcorder on a lower budget would be for short films.

All these questions and more can and will be answered.

A brief answer would be: the T2i sound is pretty poor, you might want to look at recording externally. But the video is so good that purchasing an HD camcorder to shoot film would probably be a waste of your money.

But, in other news, welcome! :welcome:

Forget buying a camcorder. You've already got an awesome camera. Spend your money on sound equipment (though, I'm sorry, I'm not the guy to offer advice on that).
