I guess I feel it's kind of pointless putting sex in a movie. It's scary to be murdered during sex, but in some of these slashers, they just have it and nothing happens, till later, so it seems to make no difference. If you want to put sex in to titillate the audience, then you might as well put in good sex, which a lot of slashers do not, unless audiences are just easily titillated.
