misc I created an audio-reactive helmet for my sci-fi short :)

Hi all. It's first post in this forum, thought I'd share something I've been working on!

I've been delving into the world of electronics the past few months, slowly working towards this project. This year, we're making a short sci-fi film here in Manchester. I thought it'd be cool to design an interactive helmet—something that I can tie into my other audio-visual projects. This IND7 works with Ableton over an Arduino to display MIDI-triggered values on it's 7-segment display.

If anyone has worked on something similar, I'd love to share some ideas

Big ups!

That's awesome. Great idea, great execution. I'm more of a Maschine/Kontakt guy, but I can fully appreciate what you're doing.

I'm also jealous that you live in Manchester, since you get to see some of the worlds best bands play live.

That is ingenious. Could you program a higher resolution display then program it to act like an oscilloscope, creating random sine waves based on the music?
