In terms of lists of distributors I would recommend getting in touch with Film Vic.
They will have an up to date list of guys to chat with, as well as being able to tell you off the bat if you're eligible for any of those lovely grants they're throwing our way for Victorian film-makers.
By all means, if you think that the types of films offered on ArtFilms are of a similar genre to your work, send something in. That being said, I haven't heard nor dealt with these guys at all, so I can't comment on their quality (or lack thereof)
