All I could find was that one of you guys made a single movie 5 years ago, and the other one acted in it.

To me a "career" implies more than one movie, it does not seem you yourself have a career so it makes me question how you will help me to establish one.

I think this is a fair criticism and I'm definitely open to advice on how to find distribution and make sales.

I think this probably should be in the promotional section, as openly advertising your services in a new thread is not the best way to go about introducing yourself to a forum, especially when you haven't written an introductory post yet. It just feels like spam from the get-go.

I've still promoted a few of my things outside of the promotional section, but I did it because it was relevant to someone's actual current issue in a different thread, and I knew that my tutorial videos already covered concepts that might solve their current problem.
