How to set lighting to a few situations?

Hi everyone! :P

I have another question concerning lighting :) . Ok, how should I set up lighting when in a running scene or a walking scene? I can't afford tons of lights. Do I have my crew following the subject with a few reflectors if the situation is outdoors? With a car(pickup truck-lol)?How about indoors (maybe shooting in a big hall, or a gym? or any similar situation for that matter)?

Omg, just goes to show that anything can happen in these kinds of situations :D I hope the equipment was ok after that! Anywho...Can you check this video? Its "saving private Ryan" and in the beggining scene its raining. Now I wonder how did they film that..They were probably under a tent I guess, zooming in probably? dont know

You can make the sun work like a 1-light 3 point lighting system...

Place the actor so the sun is over their shoulder, but out of frame enough to not flare the lens. Reflect the light high on the opposite side and bounce the reflected light up from the sun side to fill the dark side in...

light travels from sun (rim light) to reflector (Key light) to bounce (fill light).

The reflector needs to hit both the subject and the bounce to give it light to use for the fill. Two grips walking with the action if there's motion just off frame (it'll be difficult, but not impossible).

Here's some 2 point photographic lighting stuff:
