How To Crowd Fund

Inspired by a recent thread, I decided to collate all my current information on crowd funding and make a nice, sensible article about how to do a campaign. I'll post it on here later, if people would prefer but for now I would massively appreciate people visiting The Clapper Bored to read it because I LOVE HITS! (Even though I have no advertising, if you suspect my motives ;) )

If people have any obvious or insightful additions, I am more than open to updating the article. But I think it's a good thing for people to read before they start work on their campaign.

Thanks, Nick!

btw, an article like this is going to get you a LOT of traffic. Especially considering IndieTalk threads come up so high on search results.

Good info, Nick! That should get you some traffic.

After two lackluster campaigns, I'm now using a tool I should have instituted long ago...

Stay tuned for campaign number three. Third time's a charm?

Glad you guys like it. I just wanted it to be a simple, easy to read guide for people who are starting out with a campaign. I reckon if you follow the basic principles there then you have a good chance of making your goal. I need a guinea pig to test out my theories though. Any takers? Jeff? :D

I think the next article that I write will be a companion piece on social media. As Paul wrote in my website's comments, people need to have an established online presence before they start so I thought I'd do a guide to using social media to attract attention and investment.
