Hey everyone,
I'm an aspiring filmmaker from Toronto and I made this with my best friend/DP. We spent most of last year working on a short film together and just started putting it out on a festival run and were pretty bummed out when it didn't get into Palm Springs. We wanted to make a short film that expressed the rejection that we felt in a comedic way and this is what we came up with. I was watching YouTube one day and noticed that they had updated to include videos in vertical format. I hadn't seen any shorts produced in vertical format so we thought it would be a fun challenge w/ the framing and storytelling. We shot all of it on a Sony A7S II and one of those LAV's you plug into your iPhone haha. Hope you enjoy!
