How long should a treatment be?

I get confused when reading material online debating the suggested length of a treatment for a TV show idea or feature and indie films. Currently i'm writing treatments for TV and film --both indie and feature-- projects, but don't know how long they should be. I've read they should all only be 1 page in length, and other sources saying from 2-5 pages in length. One treatment for a talk show I came up with, is about 1 and 1/2-3/4 pages in length. Is that lengthy enough? Too long? Should it only be one page?

What about for a feature or indie film? A reality television show following the life/lives of individuals? A game show? A documentary? How long do you make your own?

There is no standard length.

There is on line debate because some people have the need to be "right"
and show off. Your treatment should be as long or as short as you need
it to be. You are the writer who will be writing the script from your
treatment so the length is your choice.

If the treatment gets your point across then it's as long as it needs to be.
