How do you RUB out logos in your film?

I have a question? We're in the process of selling a few of our films to Movieola and we have some product placement issues on a couple of them. Example being an actress is wearing a sweater with a LOGO on it. The distributor needs us to get rid of them. Do you know how/where I can get that done? And if you can do it, how much money does it usually cost to get it done?

It is a easy as I think in today's technology? Or it this a tricky situation?

Thanks and hope to hear back from you soon.

Generally, I'm completely nazi on set about not showing labels, etc...but in post, I would assume you could make up a logo and replace it using shake or after effects. The complexity of this depends on the shot. You could also just blur it out...but I'm sure that's not very conducive to the story telling.

It's not easy, and it's a little tricky, but it can be done. As knightly said, Shake and After Effects are both good software for doing it. It can even be done using FCP.
