How do I convert footage in 'acpn' format?

I had some computer effects done for me, that I hired a special effects specialist for. When she emailed the files back to me, I payed her. But the files are in apcn format, my computer tells me. I cannot play the files, nor can my Premiere Pro program. I emailed her about it, and she says I just need to convert them. But how? I cannot seem to find a way.

Request that she provide them to you as image sequences. Any time I exchange footage with anyone I use image sequences whenever possible as they're the most universally compatible.

ProRes is great -- if you're on a mac. TIFF, EXR, and TGA on the other hand, are great everywhere.

Okay thanks, but I already emailed her asking for image. It's been over a month and she hasn't gotten back to me about that, so I figure I am on my own now and hope I didn't get ripped off.

She hasn't gotten back to you because SHE ISN'T REAL...
You're making this all up come on admit it!

And why is it that after 3000+ questions you haven't made your movie?
Come on, the community needs an answer... why all the unnecessary questions? Are you bored?

She's real. How do you know? You don't know me, you don't know what I have done.

And I guess I didn't consider those questions unnecessary but rather insightful questions to possibly help me become a better filmmaker.

You're right I don't know what you have done. Have you done anything? Can you show please?

BOOM! It's real, suckas. Y'all who are questioning H44 haven't been around long enough to realize that he is actually incredibly sincere.

Umm, H44, you do realize that when you watch a youtube vid, at the end it links you to other vids you might be interested in, right?

This one caught my interest:

At first, I thought the actor/director was too focused on his own performance to be aware of anything else that was going on around him. But the more I watched the actress, the more I realized that his technique was simply to piss her off, and that finally got her into the mood needed for her to successfully deliver her line. Sly devil, that director, he's a crafty one.

After watching that vid, it led me to one titled, "Final Ed...HOLY SHIT, do I actually get to watch this movie?! OMFG, I've been waiting so long! :woohoo:
