You're talking about the final shot, right?

Using a mask, you'd cut that layer of video into two pieces.

Top layer would be the man himself (and foreground), while everything else behind the man gets moved to the bottom layer.

Picture (well, masked video) of giant face gets slid in between top & bottom layer.

Ta-da.
