Want to be up to date with the existing trends....

We're not very trendy here. We seem to be very rooted in the basics of filmmaking - how to write well, cameras, lighting, sound-for-picture, working with cast and crew - you know, preproduction, production and post production. We even delve into promotion/marketing on occasion. Our "trendiness" tends to lean towards how the basics of filmmaking are still the basics, no matter what the current trend; a solid story with great characters acted well, solid production techniques (one major aspect of trendiness here on IndieTalk delves into using new gear, and it always comes back to the basics), sound & picture editing, etc.
