Hi From New Zealand

Hey everyone,
The names Blair and I'm 18.
Been lurking on here for awhile now but thought I should introduce myself and start getting into posting more. I'm currently living in Dunedin, just moved here from Tauranga to go to Otago university; doing a Psychology degree. I love movies, particularly horror films, and have recently started working on a few ideas of my own that I will eventually write scripts for. Currently have 3 main ideas, have been spending awhile working on one particular idea at the moment, planning out how I want everything to play out, who the characters are etc. I'll begin writing the script for it soon hopefully, just need to make time for myself to get stuck into it. It's tentatively titled 'Hung Out To Bleed', had a mate whip up a concept poster for it, if any of you guys want to see it just let me know and I'll upload it haha. Anyway look forward to lurking some more and reading over the wealth of information you have here and contributing to it myself. :P

Countdown 'til... 5... 4... 3... 2...

Haha was wondering who was going to crack the first sheep joke. I'm unsure what you mean by tricks? And just uploading the picture now, so maybe restart the countdown haha =)

Bit average quality had to take a screen shot of it. But you get the idea. Just remember it's only a concept haha, bit of fun more than anything.

Thanks, and yea will do. Basically got the whole movie planned out. What I did was break it down into parts that corresponded to each location (there's only 4 locations) so 4 parts and described in detail the what the main characters would be doing in each scene, what was happening, how this related to the overall arc of the film and with every part planned out I think it's going to make it a lot easier for me to turn into a script. Haven't had any experience writing scripts as of yet, but been doing heaps of reading getting used to the format and have got Final Draft to work with. Hoping by the end of the year the I'll have a finished script, not sure where I'll go from there yet though.

Cool another New Zealander! As for the sheep jokes...... Where else in the world can you fall asleep every night counting sheep, and for your whole life never have to count the same sheep twice?!!!?!!
Enjoy the forum.

A couple of other things about New Zealand that I bet most people on here didn't know
a) at low tide you can walk from Auckland to Australia
b) On hot sunny days we all wear grass skirts
c) kiwi meat replaces Turkey on most of our tables at Christmas
