Hello from the UK

I am Joe, a starting out, wannabe Cinematographer from Kent in England.

I have finally started making music videos after about 2 years of struggling to get started, and I am really starting to get excited about the prospect of working on many more projects. The local area I'm in doesn't seem to have an active artistic community, so reaching like minded people is difficult. I think my director is going to murder me if I talk to him about lighting or cameras any more. This seems like a great community to share ideas and geek out in the best way possible.

Hey! I was living in kent until just a few months ago, moved to East Sussex now though. Welcome to the forum!
I noticed in the same way you did that there was no artistic or even cultural community in the area. It was really hard living there and I'm so happy I moved away. I love it down here.

I'm a music composer/producer so if you ever meet bands who need that kind of work (producing an EP, even recording one) then send them my way if you can. :3

The good thing about living here is the fact that no one does what we are doing. We have had 5 offers from bands to make videos so that is great, but it is a shame that everyone around here is in a hardcore band. Not exactly my cup of tea.

If I ever hear anything about anyone wating some music recorded I will definitely get in contact man.

Thanks, very kind of you. :)
If you do find me a job one day, I'll return the favour and write some music for one of your future film projects.

Welcome Grasshopper!
I'm one of the audio guys here.
Always remember:

Your project will only look as good as it sounds, because
