Hello everyone, my name is Ven! I've been a lurker here for a while, and looking for a forum or two to join that feels more akin to an online 'home' than the walls of confusing messes of layouts of social media sites. Anyway, I suppose the best way to describe myself is a general artist. I am a director, writer, video editor, cinematographer and storyboard artist. I have interests/skills in creating miniatures/puppets, movie props and character/costume/set design and enjoy foley and experimental sound design/soundscapes.
I can see new imagery, movie scenes or at times entire movie layouts by listening to music. I think this is a form of synesthesia, not sure. Anyway, essentially, the more I connect to a music track, the more I see. I think that's enough about me, haha. Looking forward to having great conversations here and perhaps even working with some of you. Thank you to Mara and Dan here for sorting out my account registration!
