I'm Ken, looking to find some film makers in my area, philly/south jersey. I work as a graphic designer. I'd love to make friends with a film maker and work together on some projects. Not sure how to hook up with people. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Have you tried looking on Craigslist? There's usually tonnes of people looking for (free) work on there. Gets a foot in the door, at any rate. After that, it's all about your charming networking personality to move on in & up.
