HD Stock Footage....Best Free Sources?

Hey Everyone...
So... quick question that I would love to hear answers from the community on...

Who has some great suggestions for free high def stock footage?
Ive tried all of the usual suspects that pop up on Google searches, but Ive had a hard time finding a library that has a vast enough collection.
There are a few Guerilla style projects that I am working on in my spare time, and I would love to find some footage that would be otherwise un-obtainable on the budgets of these projects. Shots such as aerials, cityscapes, international driving plates, and footage that has some level of production value to it (i.e. dolly shots, jib/crane, etc).

Any suggestions folks?

Also...just a thought, but would any filmmakers out there who may have such footage of their own, possibly be interested in a footage swap? Food for thought.

If you don't ask, ya don't get. :)

I've done special requests for footage several times, from the Three Stooges steps (from the ice delivery ep), to the Hollywood sign stock footage, to CrackerFunk's whacky cellphone project just last week. I know for sure I'm not the only one doing this, either.

So yeah... this is not a crazy idea that you are opining on.

The things our community does for one another is astonishing.
