Having multiple cities/villages in a script...

I'm writing a fantasy story where the hero visits multiple cities and villages. How can I write their sluglines so there is no confusion? Should I name each city or village? For instance, the hero's village isn't the same with another village which he visits later on...Thanks for answering!

Name them, definitely.
Then gave a brief description the first time it shows up in the script, so readers can connect a description with a name.

I agree with the above - just name what the village is or city is and it won't be confusing for the reader.

Yes, but it depends what the time span is he's visiting these villages. If it's one every 10 pages then I'd give each village a name. If it's more like a quick tour, or a montage, then it's not necessary. I'd just write:

"A VILLAGE"

"ANOTHER VILLAGE"

Otherwise, you're right -- it could get confusing having a bunch of villages with different names all within a page or so of each other. It also depends how important the locations are. Again, if he's just passing through I'd just write "VILLAGE".
