Has anyone ever dealt with "J-Distribution" out of the great media mecca of Kansas (LOL)? I wonder if there's a connection with "V & R Distribution" which went bankrupt years ago, screwing over lots of vendors.
Whenever you contact BestBuy about DVD distribution into their stores they refer you to this company. This company does something that is a red flag in my book -- they charge a $250 "set up fee", which if you sign up enough individual vendors I'm sure can be very lucrative (for them)! "Setup fees" are a no no. I know this song and dance. My guess is that for $250, BestBuy orders 2 copies for only like 10 of 850 of their stores, then stop carrying your product.

"The $250 is the start-up cost and you pay only after we have an order to place your album in stores."
