Very cool, though I plan on waiting a while before hacking my GH2. Has there been any word on adding a waveform monitor to the hack? I've been putting off purchasing an external monitor with a waveform on the off-chance a hack would enable one.

No, it has a histogram though. I like to turn it on during paid shoots to make people think I know what I'm doing. I actually have no idea wtf the histogram is telling me.

A histogram is like comparing an abacus to a calculator. They are both used for the same thing, but a waveform is infinitely more useful.

Edit: Okay, that's not an entirely accurate comparison, but for shooting video a waveform is FAR more useful.

That's probably right, but I haven't bought one yet, so couldn't tell you exactly what they look like.
