Greetings, & thank you for popping in to introduce yourselves, as I am introducing myself to you. What a lovely arrangement.

The skill set that I bring to IndieTalk is screenplay representation. I am an agent for screenwriters, & in the process of taking my business from most-of-the-time to full-time, an industry friend who appreciates this forum suggested that I join.

I look forward to learning from all of you, your posts, & your blogs. I know my end of the business; however, I do not know as much as you about the other aspects of the media production industry.

May this be a pleasant interaction that is mutually beneficial for us all.

You’ll find this place to have some great people - your industry
friend was right to suggest you join. That said, there is deep
suspicion among many of us of agents who charge fees for
representation. In general agents work on commission. So be
prepared for some challenging questions regarding your agency
fees. Some questions and comments may seem downright hostile
but I assure you most of us are fair minded and willing to hear
people out.

How many writers do you currently represent? Are you a Guild
signatory? How many sales have you brokered for your clients?
What is the name of your agency?
