Greetings from Asia! Where to find treatments and outlines?

I started writing what I thought was going to be a treatment back at the end of May and now am in the quagmire of "scriptment" land.

Though I went to classes at a film school, it's my first time seriously doing this (wrote a full script before, but the first one's a throwaway).

My questions for folks here:

-Does anyone know where one can access treatments for successfully released films? Preferably Rom-Coms?
-What is the typical development process like? Do you submit treatments and then get development money to fund the full script?

Thanks for your thoughts!

Alyce

PS I'm so thrilled to discover that these forums exist, where folks trade advice and support!!! I don't think I've been on a forum since high school, which was a while ago...

Hello! Welcome to the forums, I am new here also! Sadly I don't know much about Scripting as I am a new filmer as well. But enjoy!

An established writer can get a writing job based on a
treatment - or even a pitch. An unproduced writer needs
to write several excellent, marketable scripts before they
will find a prodCo to pay them to write.
