Hello all!
My name is Sara, I'm 24-years-old, a resident of Appalachia, and have always had a passion for film - be it as a writer, performer, or anything else in the field. I've performed in several smaller student films, in spite of having (because of budgetary constraints throughout my youth) been primarily educated within the theatre - at least, in the traditional sense.
Within the theatre, I have learned every aspect of the stage game, but on my own time, have learned (via much trial and error!) how to apply this practically in a film setting. I'm educated on editing, with access to professionals in the field who assist me when questions pop up (and there are a lot of questions!), very educated in the screenwriting aspect, and directoral as well - my acting background also proves to be quite beneficial from time to time.
I joined this forum because it is just what I'm looking for - tons of people with a love for filmmaking, and a vast quantity of helpful information. I'm just now going to be starting out (with a lot of help) on producing some work, now that finances have stabilized somewhat.
I thought I'd introduce myself, let you all know what I'm about, before I really started posting in depth on here. Believe you me, there will be a lot of posting, and probably a lot of questions in the future...so bear with me!
