Im very glad I found this place. Im not new to filmmaking or producing but I am self taught - I mainly work with a good friend but we're both college students so budgets are always extremely tight.
I plan on doing courses in a couple of years when I finish my current studies. I currently use a low-end MiniDV camera but it does the job for our work at the moment. I currently use Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 for editing along with Adobe After Effects CS3.
I know Ill be visiting this forum often as Im usually stuck in a position where I cant progress with filming because Im stuck and theres nobody to ask for help. I havent produced any sort of short films before though we have done games reviews and have no intentions of stopping these but I have got plans for films in summer and Im thinking of doing some sort of a gangster film eventually - something with a Reservoir Dogs feel to it.
Anyway, thanks for this forum, its great.
