Hey everyone thanks for taking the time to help me out,
I am working for a non-profit group that wants 3-5 minute video docs on farms in the surrounding area. The docs focus is on how farms adapt to a changing society and how they stay in business.
The problem i am having difficult solving is getting farmers interested in being interviewed. I was wondering if this fine community has any tips for contacting people who have not heard about your project and convincing them to give you a 15-20 minute interview and allow you to get b-roll footage of their farm.
Or if you have any good documentary experiences that relate to this short doc format or dealing with farmers i would love to hear them.
