V48HOURS is officially NZ's largest film competition
Filmmakers don't know what genre (thriller/romance etc) they will be shooting until the start of the competition. All creativity: writing, shooting, editing and adding a musical soundtrack, must occur within the 48 hour window, they must also include some random elements

Job well done. A few things to note but good all around film.

@ :53 is that equipment in the shot? I have to say yes since it didn't show up in any other shots before it. Also, she is sitting in front of a window and nothing is there to explain it. Besides that, good beginning and good camera set up (besides equipment). She really looked good in that lighting.

When men come to meet her you have them coming from the same part of the frame. I would have had one come from the left and then the other from the right. Which would have worked better when they met up in front of her door (in which you did at that point).

Only issue with camera placement is @ 4:12, Elliot is in the left frame but you cut to next shot and he is in the right frame, etc. I would have also cut out most of that left frame when both are on screen and you're showing a plate on the table. Also the lighting continuity in that scene was dark when only showing him and then light when you had both in frame.

I like how the poem was foreshadowing Elliot's future, didn't catch it in the first go around.

Acting was good and Sidney was incredible.

Story and dialogue were great.

Lighting was good besides one spot and I'm sure most will miss that tid bit.

Sound was great and music fit the piece.

All around you folks did a good job, for 48 hour thing or not.
