Gadabout Film Fest accepting submissions

The Gadabout Traveling Film Festival is now accepting submissions for its 4th annual national tour.
We are a nationally touring film festival that screens a program of 20+ international short films. Independent in every sense, these films share the same willingness to challenge the conventions set for filmmaking. We are NOT a competition, rather a celebration of what is possible in independent film and video. We are currently accepting submissions for our next tour. Film submission deadline is end of August. A traveling film fest? That sounds pretty

Is the fest named after the Gadabout buses for senior citizens, that they have in upstate NY? (That's a serious question, btw)

Moving festival?? - I like that thought.

I always wanted to run a library van and whenever people came trying to return their books in time (so as to evade a fine) we would drive off down the street.

the gadabout is not associated with the senior citzens buses (ha), we thought the name was appropriate because it means to roam around in search of media or social activity.
