Funding for new psychological short "The Tendency"

What seems from the outset to be an everyday gangster/hostage film as two men argue about killing another is revealed to be something altogether more sinister...

The Tendency is the latest project from Centenary Films and we really need to drum up interest to help fund this new project. We love making films but even the lowest budget projects need some finance to get off the ground so all help is a huge bonus to us.

Please check out our Indie Gogo campaign for more info:

Our goal is comparatively small to many shorts but every little helps and every donation is welcome, be it big or small!

Good luck with this guys. It would be nice to see a promo video of some kind. You will get a much higher response this way. Even if you block it and shoot it with an iPhone. Just a thought.

how can you "block" with an iphone?

Simple. Use people - or your actual talent to block out (find placement in) a scene. It can be as rough as you want. Read directly off a script. The idea here is to give the viewer/investor an idea of what your skills are as a director/editor/cam op etc... Shoot it just like you plan, but with an iphone - edit it.

This is at it's minimum. Ideally you would shoot a more polished example. Just depends on your resources.

Also a quick interview with the director. And I mean quick - so we get to know the director. 1 minute tops.

It's all about connecting with the project. Hope this helps.

Thanks Teddy that's really helpful feedback.
