Full Screen on Premiere CS5.5

I already know about the tilde key, but that only takes the full screen of a certain panel. Okay, what i wanted was to see the whole preview screen without any panels around, like watching in VLC in full screen.

Well, it seems like a friend got it in Vegas, just wondering if I could do the same thing in Premiere.

As you've said I've only ever known of the '~' / '`' key and iv been editing with it for 4-5 years

If you have a 2nd monitor, you can set it up to play the timeline out full screen the entire time, no borders.

So in short, there is no work around, aside from the 2nd monitor option? Oh, that's sad. Anyway, not a major drawback. Thanks guys! :]

Upgrade to CS6 and you can press CTRL ~ and get a full screen "Cinema Mode"

monitors are cheap.. dual monitors can make you a lot more productive with other things too. I hate when I have to work with a single monitor after having used multiple monitors now for several years.

I use the Matrox MX02 at work and at home so I can monitor on both a CRT and an HDTV with HDMI/SD output simultaneously - AND edit with 2 monitors.
