Hey guys,

The Stella Artois 'Recyclage de Luxe' Film Festival (18+, UK Only) has started on The Auteurs. From today until Monday 21st December 2009, a different classic film will be accessible for free and on demand.

Today's classic is Jacques Demy’s 'Lola' (1961). It is a prequel to his musical masterpiece The Umbrellas of Cherbourg. The reappearance of a beautiful woman from a young man’s past brings a swirl of nostalgia, regret, romantic hope and melancholy, a rich emotional palette that became a trademark for Demy.
